LeBron James Welcomes Third Child With Wife Savannah Brinson! It’s
LeBron James is finally a father to a little girl! According to People, the NBA star and his wife, Savannah Brinson, welcomed their third child, daughter Zhuri, on October 22 in Akron, Ohio.
LeBron hasn’t confirmed the news through his rep or on social media, but we couldn’t be more excited for the family! News of baby No. 3 started to make headlines back in February, and in June, Miami Heat’s president, Pat Riley, confirmed the couple were expecting their third child.
The 29-year-old basketball pro has kept a low-profile regarding the pregnancy up until a few months ago, when he posted a sweet message to his expectant wife. “Happy Bday to my Queen @mrs_savannahrj!! Even though I believe everyday is your bday. You're gorgeous/glowing right know[sic] and period babe girl!”
He continues, “For 2 reasons. 1. That baby girl doing the watoosie in your belly everyday. Lol. 2. You're a flat out STAR!! Thank you for being my wife, the mother of my kids, but most of all my friend. Love you Vansky!!”
LeBron and his wife — who are high school sweethearts! — made things official when they tied the knot back in September 2013. They are also already doting parents to two young boys, LeBron James, Jr., 10, and Bryce Maximus James, 7.
Lebron has publicly addressed how much he wanted to grow his little family in the past, even admitting that he wanted a daughter! Just this past January, the Cleveland Cavalier forward — he recently announced his return to his original team after four years with the Miami Heat — posed with Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh’s daughter, Trinity, on Twitter, saying, “OMG I NEED A DAUGHTER!! @chrisbosh I’m too jealous of u dude! She’s amazing. #DaddysLilGirl.”
Well, sounds like LeBron got his own little girl. Congratulations to the family!
